When I was first getting into ceramics and learning how to throw. I was always looking for interesting household items that have roles and have developed with time.
I noticed while exploring charity shops the variations of this object in glass and plastic.
It was my mentor of the time who taught me how to throw these items, and they quickly became one of my favourite things to produce.
These pieces have been made using a blend of local clay with a white gloss. Flecks of iron from within the clay give them their signature look and by using wild clay they become a small batch item with variability with each batch I make.

All products are 100% handmade by Myself in my studio in Titirangi, Auckland, New Zealand.
All my work is dishwasher and food safe however I would always recommend hand washing as the best option to avoid damage.
