Much like my spoon rests. My Garlic graters for this run were a bit of an oversite. I had seen variation of these items online and in some shops, but I hadn’t thought to have a go myself. Well eventually a lovely woman at my local market asked me to make her one. I said absolutely and that id have it ready in a few weeks for her.
As soon as I had made one, I was determined that I would make some for this occasion.
thrown on the wheel with a blended local clay and is glazed with a white gloss. The high iron content gives these pieces their speckled effect and adds an orange tinge to the glaze.

All my work is dishwasher and food safe however I would always recommend hand washing as the best option to avoid damage.
